Product Description

These large African Seed Pod Shakers are from the African Flame Tree or Royal Ponciana, delonix regia. When shaken the seed pods inside the pod move and produce a loud and satisfying rattle! Although our seed pods are specially selected for their sound quality some of our green fingered customers have sucessfully grown a flame tree tree from the seeds inside the pod!

As a music teacher, these seed pods are fantastic for African music projects. They have a clear, crisp sound, though this does differ slightly from one pod to the other due to them being a naturally formed product.
